毎年8月下旬に、芭蕉乗船の地の船着場付近で行われる本合海地区のまつり。古くから伝わる伝統行事が再現されたものだ。期間中は、約20基の絵灯籠が最上川に浮かび、夜間は明かりを灯して幻想的な雰囲気となる。
