生年不明〜天正十九年（1591）
最上義守の二男。新八郎。天童氏が滅亡した後、天童氏を盟主とする国人領主連合「天童八楯」の一員であった長瀞氏を継いだといわれている。天正十九年（1591）に戦死したという。庄内松根の佐藤家の娘で松ヶ枝という女性が妻であると伝わっている。息子が１人おり、のちの松根光広である。
